mush

corn meal mush for 2

Mix together in sauce pan--

1/2 cup cornmeal,

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup of cold water.

Add

1 1/2 cups of boiling water,

to the cornmeal mixture.

Cook, stirring constantly,

until mixture thickens.

Cover and continue cooking for about 10 minutes.

Eat warm with milk and sugar.


options: pour cooked mush into square cake pan. Chill, 6 hours. Cut into squares and fry in butter.

Serve with butter and/or maple syrup.
